Give Without Expectations

From November 15th - December 13th we are accepting NEW soft hats, socks, and blankets to give back to our brothers and sisters in our cancer community.

In our 6th year of “GIVE WITHOUT EXPECTATIONS” Shay’s Warriors Life After Cancer, has set a goal to collect 100+ new soft hats, socks and blankets for our local oncology centers. Going through cancer is hard enough, but going through cancer during the holidays is even harder. Help us spread a little cheer in a time that when those going through cancer need a little extra love from a perfect stranger. Help us be a part of this giving without expectation impact.

Donation Drop off Sites will be at the following locations during their normal business hours:

The Significance of Dia de Muertos: Prayer and remembrance of friends and family members who have died.

Shay's Warriors Life After Cancer Teams Up with La Quinta Brewing Co. for Exciting Fundraiser, Bosoms and Brews fest. 

Shay's Warriors, nonprofit organization is devoted to empowering cancer survivors and advancing mental, physical and emotional health after active treatments end. Shay’s Warriors is pleased to announce an exclusive annual fundraising event at La Quinta Brewing Co. in Palm Desert on October 17th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This event seeks to raise vital funds in support of ongoing health and wellness initiatives that benefit our local cancer survivorship community, while also fostering greater awareness for breast cancer.

Guests can look forward to an unforgettable country-themed evening featuring live music from Holiday State, great craft beer, and a vibrant, rustic atmosphere. This free event will be held at La Quinta Brewing Co., a local favorite known for its top-quality brews and inviting setting. Holiday State will provide the perfect soundtrack for the night, setting the stage for lively line dancing. Attendees are guaranteed a fun-filled night that supports a meaningful cause, combining great entertainment with the spirit of giving back.

Wine Around the World

Wine & Dine Around the World is a wine-tasting event featuring hundreds of wines from multiple countries, paired with regional hors d'oeuvres.

The event is a culmination of "Wine Down Wednesday", an annual summertime series of tastings supporting several Coachella Valley nonprofits, created by Marker Broadcasting. General admission for the event is 6-9 pm; VIP has early entry with a VIP after-party from 5-11 PM. A portion of the proceeds benefits your choice of one charity per ticket.

General admission to Wine & Dine Around the World includes the opportunity to taste these wines and enjoy delicious food pairings while supporting the charity of your choice. Featured wines will also be available for purchase by the case, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the nonprofits.

VIP tickets include admission to the after party, "Flight 2024", created and produced by Lulu's Catering & Events, which will include premium wines, an open bar, elevated cuisine, and entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will benefit your choice of one charity per ticket.

Board members Dr. Sonja Fung of Live Well Clinic in La Quinta CA, Marisa Rivera, of SkinLab El Paseo, Palm Desert CA, and our Founder and Breast Cancer Thriver, Shay Moraga of Namaste with Shay. Along with special guests from our cancer communities near and far. With unique topics that help educate cancer survivors, their family & friends on how it feels to move forward, reconnect and live life after the cancer treatments stop and the "new normal" begins. Our goal is to help bridge the emotional gap in the understanding among those who have been touched by the trauma of cancer.
